PHOTOS: Dead Leaf Echo Play an Alluring Mix of New Material and Fan Favorites at Tellers (SXSW)
The prospect of attending a Dead Leaf Echo concert holds the promise of total immersion in sweeping guitars, mellow vocals and dreamy indie rock arrangements. Regardless whether on their home turf in Brooklyn, or as deep into the country as in Austin, Texas, the four members of Dead Leaf Echo know how to deliver!
After having released the full length album “Thought and Language” in 2013, Dead Leaf Echo are working on a follow-up album which will continue with the lush sounds fans came to love but sprinkled in new material that points into a slightly rougher and edgier direction but most definitely something we can get truly excited about, if the live performances are any indication.
There also should be excitement among the fans abroad, since Dead Leaf Echo will be heading to Europe next month, touring Germany and playing a show in Copenhagen, Denmark.
