Mondo.NYC Roundup Day 3: Organised Scum // Carnival Youth
Our Mondo Friday was cut short for several reasons, but we managed to get into Pianos to see London band Organised Scum, who convinced especially with their newer material.
After a quick dinner break and a glimpse at The Everymen, Carnival Youth took the stage. The young Latvian four-piece were on their first trip to New York and I’m sure we were not the only ones they could win over as new fans: their smart brand of indie pop with multi-way vocals, foremost by drummer Edgars Kaupers are catchy and delightful.
