SONG PICK: Blushing – Tether
The Austin, Texas band Blushing comprises two families: after Michelle Soto and Christina Carmona started with music together, they turned to their respective husbands for help on lead guitar and drums. “Tether” is the opening/title cut of their debut EP, featuring four tracks, full of reverb, glittering guitars and dreamy vocals, which sometimes break out almost into prog rock territory.
