SONG PICK: Glassmaps – Summer Rain
The pulsating dynamic of “Summer Rain” by Glassmaps sounds in deed like rain pouring down from above, hitting the hot pavement, interlaced with alluring harmonies, intricate guitar play and highly appealing vocals. Glassmaps is the solo project of UK-based Australian Joel Stein, lead guitarist of Howling Bells. About going solo, Joel explains: “I found myself growing creatively and sonically. I was aching to take it further and explore. This is how Glassmaps materialised.” We are glad it did!
