SONG PICK: BOYS – Step Back
BOYS took our hearts by storm last year with “Off To New York City” which we happily featured as a #glamglarepick. The London-based dream pop quartet has more gorgeous songs up their sleeves as the brand new single “Step Back” is proof. “Step Back” starts out beautifully mellow, with lush and bright guitar work, paired with soft vocals and an overall blissfully dreamy vibe. Revealing a bit more about the song’s lyrical context, the band offers:
“It’s about the sudden ending of a relationship, and even though you don’t want to, in the long run taking a step back from the person will be best for everyone”.
