SONG PICK: Morly – Sleeping In My Own Bed
L.A.-based singer/songwriter Morly is back. We enjoyed her 2016 EP “Something More Holy” enormously and were lucky to catch her two of her intimate performances at SXSW and the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
With her latest song “Sleeping In My Own Bad” she moves away from minimalist electronics more towards more traditional songwriting. Still, the way the songs builds from a simple piano towards a grand finale and Morly’s unique vocal interpretation, makes it very special.
“Sleeping In My Own Bed” is part of a three song single out on August 25.
