SONG PICK: Syrra – I Can Be Mean
Syrra is a new, exciting London-based duo. The band’s name refers to the Swedish word for “sister” and that fittingly describes the collaboration of long-time friends Aneta (vocals) and Ea Akilat (production). Their debut “I Can Be Mean” is a slow dark pop track that shines with an unpretentious, but rich production and Aneta’s emotional vocals.
