SONG PICK: Grae – Woman’s World
Toronto-based singer/songwriter Grae just released another pop gem, her third this year. With “Woman’s World” she wants to push away the idea that it is just ok to harass women in public. She brings her cause over with urgency and a dramatic finale, fueled by personal experiences. Grae explains:
Woman’s World is for the women who have experienced these disgusting acts [of harassment]. It’s a song of empowerment and one that I really hope brings us closer and opens more doors to these types of conversations.
