SONG PICK: Trishes – Caffeine
Some people know too well how to make you feel good. L.A. singer/songwriter and visual artist Trishes found herself in a relationship with a man of that kind. Her new single “Caffeine” is the first of two song she wrote about being manipulated and not knowing what is real and what is just show. In hindsight she is able to book these events just as an interesting psychological experience. She explains:
I rarely write about my love life and relationships, but I was fascinated by how much this person in particular revealed so much to me about the inner workings of my mind and human psychology in general. I think it speaks to our basic needs and wants, and how our minds can be exploited through them.
Consequently “Caffeine” has a light and airy feeling with only a hint of drama. We are curious about the next episode of this story.
