Frankie Rose – Anything
For nearly two decades, Frankie Rose was busy establishing herself across New York and Los Angeles, with her solo project but also with her projects Vivian Girls, Beverly, or indie-rock band Dum Dum Girls (drums, vocals.)
It’s a bit intimidating to read, “Celebrated by countless critical and cultural outlets over the years for her expansive approach to songwriting, lush atmospherics, and transcendent vocal melodies and harmonies, Love As Projection is a reintroduction of her established style through the new lens of contemporary electronic pop.”
What can I possibly add other than that “Anything” is… everything?! Franke Rose’s new single is uncompromisingly beautiful and immediately irresistibly catchy. There’s simply no escape as “Anything” picks your soul and conquers your music-loving heart instantly. Luckily, there will be more because Frankie Rose is gearing up to release her new album Love As Projection come March 10th. It’ll be out on Slumberland, and it marks her first new record in six years.
