Browsing through all the possibilities this -last- CMJ day offers, I’ll go with Darla by Vundabar for my Song Pick of the Day. It’s an energetic, upbeat song with some fine (guitar) hooks. We saw the three from Boston playing Pianos yesterday, and they shouldn’t be missed playing Niagara today either.
There’s only two more days at CMJ, but still lots of great music to see and hear. For example Vulkano from Sweden, who play tomorrow at Pianos. Imaginary People is our Song Pick of the Day.

Today’s Song Pick of the Day is from Blank Paper, a Brooklyn four piece that does high energy danceable electronic music. They play CMJ Wednesday 9 pm at The Paper Box, a great venue that unfortunately hosts concerts only rarely.
