Ever since we saw New Jersey darlings Dentist playing Muchmore’s for Northside Festival 2016, we wanted to see the melodic garage/grunge rockers again, and were especially psyched when the trio agreed to play our November show. We loved them even more this time around and hope they will be seen in New York more often!

Fellow New Jersey band Above the Moon didn’t need much persuasion either and hopped on the bill. They got their fans going with an appealing set of dreamy guitar driven rock.

Proving that there’s not just a neighboring state with great music but an often neglected New York borough too, Raina Bee got the party started. This time, Raina performed without The Hive but won the hearts of all in attendance in storm. Especially her Amy Winehouse renditions, just armed with her remarkable vocals and her electric guitar gathering lots of cheers and applause.

Closing the night out was Blonde Maze, aka Amanda Steckler who was not afraid to fill in literally last minute for fellow indie-electronic artist Mïrändä who was incapacitated due to a -ironically- dentist appointment. It all worked out beautifully since we will have Mïrändä for our January 19th show and it is always an absolute pleasure to hear Blonde Maze perform live. Enchanting!
