Back in summer London-based singer songwriter Lir Shilton enchanted me with her beautiful cover of Air’s “Cherry Blossom Girl”. Now she is about to release a new album “Nothing but a Ghost” on December 9 and a single “Home”, a slow burning rock ballad where Lir backs her mellow, melancholic vocals with a gentle electric guitar line.
