SONG PICK: Leng Hock – All the Way
Listening to “All the Way” by singer/songwriter and producer Leng Hock, it becomes quickly obvious that this is a sad love song, one about missed chances but also trying it against all odds. According to Leng Hock, this is also a very personal song in which the Australia-based electronic R&B artist reflectsf not only his long-distance relationship, which he ultimately lost but also his experiences with immigration, especially at the LAX airport. So lyrically, there is something for a lot of people and sonically, “All the Way” is just drop-dead gorgeous! There is suspense but there is sparkle too and above all, Leng Hock’s bright and soulful vocals.
