Seyblu – Honest
The silky vocals and jazzy vibes make “Honest” a perfect song for dreaming away on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Like fellow Canadian Minoe in Friday’s Song Pick, singer/songwriter Seyblu goes into a dialog with herself about ending the pretense that does not serve her anymore. She explains:
“I think being honest with ourselves is difficult. It means re-living difficult things, especially if no one is asking you to. But life is too short to waste it on playing a ‘part'”
