This is when you decide to commit to going further together or part ways. In “Catch Me,” the Los Angeles singer/songwriter JES zeroes in on the emotions of the moment in a sweeping synth-pop track that has a broader meaning for her:
“I feel like catch me comes from a universal emotion. It is a place we all get to at some point, where we decide to jump, and whatever happens, happens. I’m a natural optimist, so I always feel the positivity first. The downside is that it can make a disappointment crushing, but I’ll always throw myself into everything, heart and soul. Anything else just feels like half a life to me."
