LaRegina – In Charge
While reggae music usually evokes images of a chill summer party at the beach, the genre also has a tradition of providing social commentary. That is what German musician LaRegina has in mind with her new song “In Charge”: while upbeat and sunny, the track addresses a ubiquitous question of modern life. She explains:
“It seems like finding the right balance between the online and the offline world is one of the challenges of our time. It's way more complex depending on the perspective, so the question remains is it a win, a loss or something in between?”
