Ella Tobin – Golden Hours

What Ella Tobin sings about in her new single “Golden Hours,” is such a sweet ode to what matters most: really good friends and places where you feel at home. The track can be found on Ella’s just-released debut EP, Favourite Place To Hide. Referring to the maybe most magical time of the day, when the sun dips all that surrounds us in a golden light, is the perfect metaphor. The song is marvelous! Asked about “Golden Hours,” London-based singer/songwriter Ella Tobin says:

“Golden Hours is a platonic love song for the people and places that always feel like home. It’s an ode to the precious moments spent together with your best friends where for a short while, it feels like time slows down and the world is a little lighter. With melancholic themes running through the rest of the EP, I wanted to end with Golden Hours as a reminder that, despite all the heavy stuff, there are always things to be celebrated and cherished, especially the people we hold closest to us.”
