Jason Gould – Sacred Days
A lot of new music lands in my inbox, and when I read that this artist is Barbra Streisand’s son, I was immediately intrigued. How would his vocals sound like? At the same time, though, I was ready to dismiss this artist as the child of famous parents and having it all easy. However, nothing is easy and it’s probably especially hard, when your mother is a legend. So I was listening to independent singer, songwriter, and creator Jason Gould, who just released his new five-track EP Sacred Days. And I kept on listening on repeat because I absolutely love the EP and the mesmerizing title track in particular. Its meaningful lyrics, and of course, the gorgeous vocals, that Jason has. Asked about his creative side, Jason says:
“Music is the universal language of feeling. It affects your body right away. Then, it makes you think. A lot of love goes into creating, producing, and singing. It’s very vulnerable to make a song and put it out into the world. Creativity is in my nature though. It’s the most important element of my own wellness and peace of mind. When a song happens, I can’t take credit for it. It comes through me, and I just apply my instincts.”
