Rose Brokenshire – Type Two
Don’t get fooled by this song’s Sunday afternoon beach vibe because it is about skiing – the kind where you hike up a mountain for hours to slide down untouched slopes. The Canadian singer/songwriter Rose Brokenshire does this sport, among other pretty incredible things, and her new song “Type Two” is a hommage to achieving fulfillment by overcoming challenges. That happens in many places in life: the struggle may be real at the moment but turns into a cherished memory in hindsight – and this is what the term “type two fun” means.
