SONG PREMIERE: MNRØ – Waves
MNRØ from Manchester, England entered the music scene with a splash with her debut “I’m Not Running You”. A very angry splash! Now she is back with the softer, more reconciliatory “Waves,” even though in the end the song is still about a breakup. Musically, she stays the course with elegant future pop that strikes the perfect balance between current trends and timelessness. MNRØ says about the song:
The comfort zone is something I’ve always felt safe in because it’s familiar. I found it so hard to leave a relationship because, to me, change was scary, shaking up my very foundations. I wasn’t happy, but after so long I finally had the courage, took the leap of faith, and faced head-on the hardest decision I had to make.
