Atka – Desiring Machines [Video]
Originally from Germany, Sarah Neumann aka Atka has settled in London where she has been pursuing several endeavors before working on her debut EP The Eye Against the Ashen Sky. The first single is called “Desiring Machines,” and the track has indeed an industrial vibe as it continuously swells layer after layer into a massive soundscape. But the references in the song and the EP go far deeper to the philosophies of Sartre, Deleuze and Guattari.
