“Spider” is the new track by the young Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Vanessa Richardson, which takes a hard left turn from the melancholic, dark pop she has released so far. Backed by a minimalistic, but effective production the track is carried mostly by her layered vocals, which gives it a pleasantly unsettling vibe. You can’t help but wonder where she will be going from here with so much creativity and talent and I strongly suspect we will hear much more from her.
